The World Helpline Operation Harvey

The World Helpline, in conjunction with our local partners is operating its 92nd disaster response since 1987.

Hurricane Harvey is the worst natural disaster in history with an estimated description of up to 160 Billion Dollars.

130 Miles Per Hour winds and unbelievable rain has left 48 dead and approximately 37,000 in emergency housing.

Assisting on site in the Houston and Port Arthur areas of Texas the teams are on the ground providing emergency water, food, mattresses, pillows and truckloads of supplies.

Will you help as we distribute through local Churches on site?

Much needed supplies are:

New socks – all sizes
New t-shirts/underwear – all sizes
Disposable diapers
Baby formula
Baby wipes
Other new baby supplies
New stuffed animals to comfort children
Backpacks for personal items
Rubber bins with lids for personal items
New blankets
Gift cards for local churches to distribute
Work gloves
Extension cords
Hand tools
Utility knives
Safety goggles
Tarps (various sizes)
Mosquito repellent
Contractor trash bags, masks, rubber boots, rakes
Large tent(s)
Potable water truck
Walkie talkies
Non-perishable foods items
Wet dry vac
Cleaning Supplies-buckets,mops, bleach, garbage bags etc

We urgently need help to facilitate more volunteers on site, transportation to get more site and for additional supplies and emergency assistance.
